"FANOVATION: GEAR UP FOR THE NEW AI WAVE", the partner seminar, was held by Fano Labs on November 27th in Hong Kong. The event aimed at introducing our partners the market trend and R&D achievement with case studies. A detailed introduction of solutions offered by Fano Labs with demo was also given in the seminar.

The event is divided into two sessions. During the first session, our CEO Dr. Miles Wen, Chief Scientist Dr. Albert Lam, and VP Business Operation Mr. John Poon introduced our partners to the market trend in the field of artificial intelligence and R&D achievement with case studies.
Albert introduced us to the core technologies of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), such as intent classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, auto punctuation, etc. These technologies are useful for enterprises to collect data and support for the big data analysis, which is helpful for raising the enterprise's economic benefits.
The second session was given by our VP Product Marketing Mr. Terence Pong and Pre-sales Director Mr. Nick So. Terence gave a detailed introduction of AI technologies and solutions provided by Fano Labs and how these AI technologies, including Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Big Data Technologies to help enterprises with customer services, compliance and other lines of businesses.
These AI technologies are having far-reaching influence on the fields of Smart Telecom, Fintech, Smart Government, etc.
For example, in the fields of Smart Telecom, our solution “Voicebot” can immediately identify the customer's intent in call center and directly transfer to the corresponding agent, which can save time, improve the efficiency of telephone customer service, optimize the user experience, and also reduce the workload of customer service agents.
Furthermore, in the fields of Fintech, our technology “Speech Analytics” can monitor whether the salesperson use the appropriate sales terminology in telemarketing or not, which is helpful to reduce potential financial risks. It can also grade the performance of the salesperson, making it easier for the employee management.
In addition, Fano Labs provides customized solutions and also customizable ASR model for different vertical /customer, e.g. banking, insurance, telecom, government, etc. Fano especially focus in the fields of dialects and minority language such as Cantonese, Sichuanese, and other minor languages in Southeast Asia.
Nick later showed some product demos, including speech recognition of Cantonese mixed with English, management portal of the speech analysis system, etc. So that participants can more directly and clearly understand the practical application of our technologies.
During the Q & A session, we had a lively discussion with our partners about how we can apply the artificial intelligence technologies such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) better to meet the requirements of enterprises.
