Congrats to Fano for winning the Hong Kong Awards for Industries: “Innovation and Creativity”. Our CEO Dr. Miles Wen,Chairman Professor Victor Li, Chief Scientist Dr. Albert Lam, Pre-sales Director Mr. Nick So and VP Business Operation Mr. John Poon were invited to attend the award ceremony.

Supported by the Government, the HKAI was launched in 2005 by merging the former Hong Kong Awards for Industry and Hong Kong Awards for Services, established in 1989 and 1997 respectively. The HKAI aims to recognize the outstanding performance and achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness in various aspects.

The Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Innovation and Creativity aims to promote a culture of innovation & creativity amongst business sectors, and recognize the achievements of outstanding companies. The winning entries should be able to demonstrate the unique features of their creative concepts, their emphasis towards innovation, as well as the commercial viability and impact of their new businesses.

Fano is honored to win the Hong Kong Awards for Industries: “Innovation and Creativity” with our innovative solution which is called Artificial Intelligence Customer Service System (AICS).

Our AICS system can speak in English, Cantonese, Sichuanese, Mandarin and even mixed languages. With our big data technology, our AICS can understand and analyze relevant conversation contexts. Last but not least, our AICS system contains a combination of supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning algorithms that would allow the core AI engine to improve itself with limited human interference.

The AICS has an accurate speech recognition engines to process recordings from call centers, particularly those recorded in Cantonese and Mandarin. This system also has a powerful natural language processing tools to help our clients understand the texts extracted from their call center recordings as well as from their live chat logs.
